The main goal of the Montana Sheep Institute is to
develop and implement methods to facilitate Montana
(U.S.) lamb and wool producers to increase their competitiveness
in world markets. This will be accomplished by focusing
Montana Sheep Institute efforts primarily utilizing
sheep grazing as a tool in natural resource management,
but includes efforts in animal husbandry, management
and marketing system areas necessary for a sustained
sheep industry.
